Optical Project Design
- High-Level Design Definition: The area is strategically divided into cells that cover approximately equal amounts of premises, facilitating effective resource allocation.
- Micro Cells and Sectors Definition: Within each cell, we define micro cells or sectors based on the network configuration and available infrastructure, such as ducts or poles.
- Low-Level Design Development: This phase includes the development of primary and secondary networks, tailored to the existing infrastructure and the distribution of premises.
- Schematic Drawings and Configuration Tables: We produce detailed schematic drawings for the designed network, along with configuration tables that link network devices and define Central Office allocations.
- Comprehensive Documentation: All information is meticulously recorded in design cartographic software (e.g., AutoCAD, QGIS) and supported by text files (e.g., Excel), ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders.
Permits & Licensing
Following the Optical Design validation, we initiate the comprehensive process of obtaining all necessary permits for infrastructure development:
- Use of Existing Telecommunications Ducts, securing permits for the use of existing telecommunications ducts and rainwater drainage systems;
- Telecommunications and Power Pole Usage;
- Construction of New Infrastructure, including ducts and poles;
- Municipal Authorization for all work to be conducted on public streets;
- Traffic Management Coordination, submitting police requests to monitor and facilitate the diversion of traffic during construction;
- Engaging in negotiations with building owners for necessary interventions;
- Ensuring the payment of all required taxes associated with the permitting process.
OSP and ISP Network Inventory
All cables and equipment installed are meticulously recorded in specialized inventory software used by the network operator (e.g., NETGEO, PNI, INTERGRAPH). This process includes:
- Registration of Buildings and Infrastructure: Comprehensive registration of all buildings and infrastructure elements, ensuring accurate tracking and management.
- Mapping Cables and Equipment: Detailed drawings of all cables and equipment, including their connections within the Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) networks.
This thorough inventory record is essential for supporting customer supply needs and facilitating efficient network maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Telecom Grid
